Was just listening to the awesome Basement Jaxx song, “Where´s your head at”, and it made me think about the 12 next exciting months that make out the year 2011. And that we don´t let the walls cave us in, but rather seize the opportunities and be creative together. Let`s make ideas happen!!

Congratulations to Ulstein Group on the new contracts with Polarcus. The new SX134 is one of the worlds most advanced seismic vessels. You can watch a short presentation made by us here or at www.ulsteinlab.com

frost media did location management on the latest Saab 9-4X commercial. Most shooting was done at about 1000 meters above sea level so the weather was tough, but the car is tougher so it worked out without problems.

Trolljegeren is hitting the cinemas at this moment, and we suggest you get your butt out of the couch and go experience history in the making. frost media congratulates Filmkameratene for making a superb movie, and we had a blast participating in the production. We did location management on the Trolljegeren.

We have just signed a new contract with Studio Hamburg (for ARD, Der Erste), for line production on two movies in 2011. This makes a total of 7 movies with Studio Hamburg in Norway for the last three years. We are excited to get started, and celebrate yet another that market our beautiful surroundings to the rest of Europe.

We competed at Volda Animation for best industrial Animation production. Our two contributions “the Dream Mile” (client: SafeRoad) & “Turning Visions Into Reality” (client: Ulstein Group) did very well. “Turning Visions Into Reality” got honorable mentions, and was credited as the definition of storytelling within the genre of Industrial Animation.
We are very pleased with the result, and I wish to thank Ulstein Group for the great time we had in production. You are the best!

Tuesday the 28th of september Fora Form launched two new products, Colonnade & City plast. The event was held at their showroom in Pilestredet 75c. Oslo. Frost media made all the illustrations/graphics for both the showroom and the printed material. We collaborated with Grafisk Design Studio Bjørn Sandvik on the project. The attendees at the event was overwhelmed by the 8 meter long illustration that covered the entrance wall. The response has been very positive, and we would like to thank everybody that attended the event and made it an evening of absolute joy. Thanks.

Då er filmprosjektet “The Frost” ferdig for vår del, og med det så har vi valgt å legge ned prosjektselskapet Frost Media film.

Dessverre har ikkje “The Frost” hatt den suksessen som vi håpa på då vi tok valget å bli med på produksjonen, men det er umulig å spå framtida.

Vi hadde dessverre ikkje noko påverknadskraft på sjølve filmen og dens regi. Vi tok på oss rolla som co-produsentar av “The Frost” for å halde produksjonen på Sunnmøre, og det klarte vi.

Når produksjonen pågikk vart det lagt igjen mykje pengar i regionen. Hotell, catering, transport og mange fleire instansar fikk nyte godt av at produksjonen ikkje blei flytta utanlands. Vi har mottatt mange takkebrev frå mennesker, bedrifter og organisasjonar som har fått noko positivt ut av at produksjonen blei holdt på Sunnmøre, og det sett vi veldig stor pris. Det må også nevnast at produksjonen har vore flott marknadsføring for naturopplevingar på Sunnmøre.

Men likevel så er det salgbarheten av filmen som avgjer sluttresultatet for prosjektet, og der har dei gode resultata lete vente på seg, og vi innser no at dei vil heller ikkje kome. Det er synd, men vi vil takke alle som har støtta produksjonen. Det er så mange at vi kan ikkje begynne å ramse det opp her, - men De veit kven De er. Tusen takk!

We are working on a new movie for Tussa, portraying their extraordinary history. Using old movie clips, photographs and animated elements we take you on a journey from the Norwegian industrialization and into the future. We are in the middle of the production, but here is a little preview.
